Los Santos
1995 Los Santos before mobile phones. You'll be using payphones, reading street signs, and finding people by turning up where they said they'd be. It's a slower city, and that's very much the point.

Who you can be

Both cities run the same departments and most of the same systems. Where they differ, it's usually because 1995 wouldn't have had it.

01

Policing

The modern city runs San Andreas State Police as one department. 1995 works differently. There's still one department, but you choose whether you're going on duty as LSPD, LSSD or SAHP, so a shift can look completely different depending on the badge you pick up.

02

Fire and EMS

Both run out of the same department, and both are live in either city. The 1995 side has less to work with, because a 1995 fire crew should have less to work with.

03

Factions

There's no application to start one. Get some people together and go. If you'd rather be an official faction, come and talk to us. That gets you imported clothing, your own MLO, and a hand making the thing real. Same on both servers.

04

Honest work

The modern city has plenty to get on with: building sites, bin rounds, the oil rig, mining, hunting and more besides. 1995 has three. Mining, hunting and fishing, all built to be roleplayed rather than clicked through. Past that you'll be working for a real business in the city, or out in the hills selling meat to a restaurant that'll pay for it.

05

The other side of it

Over thirty-five heists, all written by us rather than bought in. A drug operation that runs from production through to sale, plus boosting, racing, money laundering, and the money truck if you've got the people for it.

We're far more interested in how you write than in how long you've played. Someone with two thousand hours who rushes the answers will usually get turned down, and someone with none who's clearly thought about their character usually won't.

Please join the 1995 Discord before you apply. We can't review an application from someone who isn't in the server, and it's where we'll come back to you with a decision.
